My Role

I was part of a small design team. I was responsible for the research of Newsletters App Market, Competitors - Content, Features and Design,
Competitors - Users’ Opinion and Behaviour, Target Audience, User Personas

Design Trends. I worked alongside a marketing team and product managers to define customer pain‐points.

I stopped working on the project after the detailed visual design phase as the app started to be built.

Product designers are not Artists.

They haven't to express themselves through design.

Newsletter Web App

Case study

Creating product from scratch

Problem

People’s inboxed are flooded, in 2018, approximately 281 billion daily e-mails were sent and received, projected to increase to over 347 billion in 2023.

Newsletters have grown massively as a business. As of today you can find over 3000 newsletters to pay for sponsored content. Some newsletter businesses are read by millions.

Solution

NewsletterApp helps users manage newsletters and other email subscriptions as a newsfeed, organize into folders, mark as read or read for later...

Newsletter database will let users explore and discover new popular newsletters relevant to their interests and grow their knowledge.
